SlashFilm.com has a first look at stills and a poster (?) from ‘Giallo’. Adrien’s mug on the poster actually looks very familiar. Isn’t that a photo from ‘Manolete’? And he has face hair in the movie. I’m wondering if the poster is just a hoax. Anyway…they also have the link to the official movie site.
Adrien has donated money to a charitable organization called For the Good, Inc. They say it was a “major gift” so it must have been a sizable amount. Here’s the link to where I found the tidbit.
Adrien partied down at the L’uomo Vogue Turns 40 event in Milan Sunday night. According to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD.com) he was quoted as saying “I’m here to live it up.” Here are some pictures from the red carpet and having some down time with a nice little walk yesterday.
According to eHarmony, ‘The Pianist’ is one of a list of 20 movies that make guys cry. They don’t say why so we can only speculate as to why. My husband says for him it was Wlad’s (as he calls him) longing for Dorota and ultimately never getting to be with her. Now that he says that, I do recall him being sad when Szpilman went for help at Dorota’s apartment…not knowing it was her and her husband who were there…and how embarrassed, ashamed and sad Adrien looked when he realized it was her.
According to Motorcycle-USA.com, Adrien is one of the celebrities featured in a DVD collection about the world of the Motorcycle Grand Prix. The DVD that Adrien is in first came out in December 2006 and was documentary of the Grand Prix Superbike Motorcycle race held in July 2005.
It’s about time we hear something about ‘The Brothers Bloom’! JoBlo.com has some news about the film. They say the movie will be released on Friday, October 24th. We’ll see…… And Ain’t It Cool News has a review.
My wonderful enabler husband has alerted me to the Brothers Bloom website where they’ve changed it to a bunch of sketches. Just click on the screen to see them. I have no clue what this is about. But it says “More to come”, so I guess we just have to wait and see.

According to Hollywood Today, Adrien played some celebrity charity poker in Cannes last week for his charity For The Good, Inc. Our boy didn’t win (Woody Harrelson and Alice Taglioni did), but I bet his great acting ability came in handy during play. Wish we could find video footage of the tourney.
Madrid de Cine–Spanish film screening is scheduled from June 8-10 in Madrid. According to this article from Variety, there’s a slight probability that ‘Manolete’ may be one of the film’s screened if a copy of the movie is available in time. This is sort of good news since we’ve all been anxiously waiting for it’s release. I hope we’re getting closer to that possibility.

There may be light at the end of the tunnel! Yahoo.com reports that Handmade Films is involved in the sale of ‘Manolete’. Maybe we may not get an actual theatrical release, but could we possibly see a DVD release soon of the film?

According to CanMag.com Adrien’s is going to star in an “Italian pulp, horror and erotic genre of film” called ‘Giallo’. Not that an erotic horror film wouldn’t be just what he needs right now. BTW, the article says ‘Giallo’ would be directed by Dario Argento. He is the father of Asia (who we all know is Adrien’s long-time friend). Remember the series of photos with Asia he did a while ago? Here’s yet another link and another about ‘Giallo’.
CinemaBlend.com claims this is the first picture from ‘Splice’ even though we’ve seen this one. No matter…the more the merrier. Here’s the larger version of the second pic over at GiantFreakinRobot.com. Did I get all the credits in that I needed to acknowledge?
